Maple Steel Software is a small software studio in Canada. We build websites and automations for small businesses that want something simple that works, at a fair price.
How we work
We build with AI coding tools like Cursor. They write a lot of the first draft, which is why we can deliver in days and keep prices low. They also make mistakes. So we read the work, test it, and fix it before you see it.

If you ask whether AI was used, the answer is always yes. If you want no AI at all, we're not the right fit, and we'd rather say so before you order.

What we believe
You should own what you pay for. Your site, sheets and scripts go in your own accounts. We never ask for your passwords. When the job is done, you can remove us.
Small businesses don't need monthly bills for simple things. A few pages can be hosted free. A form can save to a sheet without a subscription.
AI should help a person, not replace one. When we add AI to a workflow, it sorts, sums up and drafts. A person still decides.
What we don't do
Online shops and payments, WordPress plugins, Wix, Squarespace and Shopify work, and chatbots that talk to your customers on their own. We'd rather point you to someone else than do a job badly.

The maple leaf is for Canada. The steel is for things that are built simply and keep working.
